Patricia Caldwell, A Vibrational Energy Medicine practitioner discusses how sounding is not about "singing." So whether you judge yourself to be able to sing or not is irrelevant to this process.

Sounding your voice ushers in aliveness, clarity and courage. It touches you in places you haven’t consciously visited before, as your voice contains your untapped potentials. Your own voice is your most potent tool for healing on all levels. Using your Voice through Sounding will give you new insights, enhance your overall well-being. and support the joyful unfolding of your personal Journey.

The awakening and liberation of Patricia’s voice in 1990, set her on a journey that ultimately led her out of abuse and into a wondrous way of life she didn’t even know existed! This journey ignited her curiosity about connection with the Earth and the Divine. She explored Native American spirituality, was lead to the sacred Andes mountains in Peru and the jungles of the Amazon to study Light Body Medicine; She connected with the Goddess, the Divine Feminine, and varied healing modalities. She was introduced to the Tibetan Singing Bowls and came full circle back to using her voice, but in a way that was new to her… sounding.

The process she uses has been inspired by the teachings of Karina Schelde from New Zealand, Vicky Dodd, Jonathan Goldman, and Tom Kenyon from the U.S., Sharazad Awyan from Egypt, and the ocean at Newport, Oregon!

Volunteer Work

Fayes-LightPatricia Caldwell has volunteered her time with my organization, Faye's Light, for the past 3-1/2 years. Faye's Light is a non-profit organization that provides free, on-going holistic therapies to men and women in active treatment for cancer. Patricia offers Restorative Sound Therapy sessions at our out-patient facility one day per month, and one day per month at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey IL, through the Faye's Light program on the cancer ward to in-patients. Her sessions include sounding the bowls and placing them on and/or around the client's body, which induces a state of deep relaxation and peace. If the patient desires, Patricia will include a guided meditation with the session.

Many of the people who receive our services are experiencing drastic emotional and physical challenges. Patricia is wonderful at adjusting how she provides each session to best benefit each individual. The patients love how they feel after a session with Patricia. Many of them fall asleep; a true testament of how relaxed their minds and bodies become during the treatment. What a blessing.

Our focus is to provide comfort, love, and support to men and women in treatment for cancer; to allow them an escape from the turmoil of their disease, if only for a short time. The Restorative Sound Therapy sessions are a wonderful addition to the services we offer.

IngallsFor the past two years, Patricia Caldwell has been providing services to patients on our oncology unit. Her use of Tibetan Singing Bowls for healing sound sessions has been greatly appreciated by our patients, their families and out staff. She took time to educate the oncology staff on the therapeutic effects of her sessions, which was extremely interesting (and relaxing). As a nurse with 25 years experience, I am a strong advocate for any modality which reduces discomfort or anxiety in a patient or family member. There have been many times I have seen a patient relax and fall into a much needed sleep after a session with Patricia.

Patricia's kind demeanor and caring attitude comes through in her interactions with our patients. We have received multiple compliments and requests for her services. It is without reservation that I would recommend Patricia for a position. If you have further questions please feel free to contact me.

Edwards-Cancer-ClinicEdward Cancer Center is the beneficiary of Patricia Caldwell's generosity. As a volunteer, Patricia offers a Healing Sound Meditation practice once a month for our patients, caregivers, and members of the community who have been diagnosed with cancer. Patricia uses Tibetan singing bowls and her beautiful voice to facilitate relaxation during the session, and she offers techniques that can be used at home to help with stress and sleep difficulties. We are very grateful that Patricia is able to share her gift with us.

Please contact me at 630-646-6111 if I can answer any questions about our experience with Patricia.
